Yet, as I write to you, my heart is burdened for our nation as it slides deeper and deeper into immorality and godlessness. I am also burdened for the multiplied millions who are doomed for an eternal hell except they turn to God and salvation in our Lord Jesus Christ.
We are living in a society where the mind-set of many is that all roads, and all religions, lead to heaven. This, along with the tremendous influx of apostasy and heresy into the church, takes me back to the time when Jesus Christ came to earth the first time as a baby. It was during that time that Israel’s religious leaders and system were far away from God, although they went through the daily rituals of formalized worship and Temple sacrifices. As it is now, so it was then, apostasy and heresy were rampant among God’s blood covenant people. Rome was in control of the Holy Land, and an antichrist king sat on the throne. We are about to see a replay of this once more as Rome will once again be in control, and the Antichrist will sit upon his throne, claiming that he is God.
The signs of Jesus’ coming were everywhere when He came the first time, but most of the people missed it. Yet, there were a few who believed and had prepared. When it came time for Jesus to make Himself known, God sent a man before to prepare His way. He was the forerunner of the Messiah, and he was called John the Baptist. He was fearless, and prepared himself for his calling by living in the deserts, away from the crowds and the corrupted priesthood in Jerusalem (although he himself was of the priestly lineage), and was the “Voice of one crying in the wilderness, prepare ye the way of the Lord.” His primary message was “Repent, for the Day of the Lord is at hand.”
The interesting thing about John the Baptist and his message is that it was not directed at the lost sinners and nations of the world, but at Israel, God’s blood covenant people. Look at what John’s father Zacharias prophesied over John after he was born, and was being named.
And thou, child, shalt be called the prophet of the Highest: for thou shalt go before the face of the Lord to prepare his ways; to give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins, through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us, to give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace. . . . Luke 1:76,79 (emphasis mine).
John was preaching to Israel, God’s Church, to give them knowledge of salvation so they could repent and be saved. Can you imagine God’s Church needing to be given knowledge of salvation? These people had their temple, their priesthood, their sacrifices and everything that had to do with God and serving Him, but their hearts were far from Him. Someone had to warn them, so God raised up a man named John the Baptist.
I personally believe that we are living in the last of the last days before the Lord Jesus Christ returns at His Second Coming. Once again the signs are everywhere, with the primary sign being Israel becoming a nation again in 1948, after almost two thousand years of exile. That, coupled with the rise of the Old Roman Empire in the formation of the European Union, are two major signs of Christ’s return as prophesied by Daniel in chapters 2, 7, 9 and 11, Ezekiel, chapters 36 and 37 and by Jesus Christ Himself in Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 17 and 21.
Once again God is raising up, not just one man, but many men of God who are fearless, have been trained for their callings in the deserts of adversity, and are willing to die for the cause of Christ. Men who will not water down the salvation message, but will say to the Church, “Repent, for the Day of the Lord is at hand.” The Church is confused today as to what salvation really is. There are so many mixed messages going forth from today’s pulpits, and so many versions of the Bible, most of them very liberal and New Age, that when the people come together, they do not know what to believe. Satan is using every strategy he can to lead God’s people away from the truth. It is for this reason, and this cause, that I write this newsletter. The hour is late, and the people must be warned and prepare themselves for what lies ahead.
God’s hand of judgment is raised to come crashing down upon our nation, and unless there is sincere turning back to God, there is going to be much bloodshed, much greater than 9/11. Are you prepared? You may ask, “ What is the true message of salvation and how do we apply it?” It all goes back to blood, blood sacrifice and blood covenant. Hebrews 9:22 says “...and without shedding of blood is no remission.” Romans 3:23 says, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” and Romans 6:23 says “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Because God is holy and sinless, and people have broken His laws, there is a gulf that separates sinners from God. The only way to bridge that gulf is through a blood covenant, coming into an inter-union and intercommunion with a Holy God. This was done by the Israelites through animal sacrifices, the animals life blood being poured out -- the innocent victim taking the place of the sinner. It was all a type and shadow of the coming Redeemer, Jesus Christ, who came, died on the cross and shed His pure sinless blood as a final, complete sacrifice for those who would believe and accept Him, and receive forgiveness for their sins.
"For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?" Hebrews 9:13,14.
There is only one way to salvation and that is through Jesus Christ and His shed blood. John 14:6 says “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” Many will not repent and turn to the Lord Jesus Christ for their salvation because they “love their sin.” They look for a religion that will fit their lifestyle, and does not require a commitment to live a holy life and be obedient to a holy God. Some are on the fringes, trying to hold on to God and their sin at the same time. It will not work. God requires our total commitment.
I have had a few dreams in my lifetime that I felt were God-given, but two days ago, on Saturday morning, July 1, 2006, I had a dream that I knew was from the throne of God and that I had to tell the people about it to warn and prepare them for the days ahead. Here is the dream and the interpretation. In the dream I found myself in a motel. My wife had stepped out for something, and she came rushing back in and asked me to come outside and see this phenomena in the sky. I went out to the balcony, looked up at the sky and saw an object that, as best as I can describe, looked like crystal, and was shaped like the combination of a menorah and a chalice. It covered the entire sky. By this time many others had gathered and were gazing at this supernatural object, everyone instinctively knowing that it was some type of a sign from God.
As I continued to look, wondering what the meaning of this object was, it suddenly began to tilt to the right, and as it did, a red substance began to pour into it and fill it up. Immediately, I knew that the red substance was the blood of Jesus Christ. As it filled the bottom of the object, the word “Suffering” appeared across the lower side. Suddenly, to my right, out of nowhere, blood splattered all over the balcony. I tried to move out of the way, but it hit my shoes and clothes. It was like someone had taken a 40 gallon bucket of blood and thrown it at the balcony. When the blood hit me I was glad, because I knew it was the blood of Jesus Christ. All of a sudden it happened again on my left side, then it came spurting out of the walls of the motel. It was everywhere, and it was at that moment that I knew what was happening was not an isolated incident at the motel, but was worldwide. It was then that I heard these words. “The blood will either condemn you or save you.” If you accept it you will be saved. If you reject it you will be damned for all eternity. The dream ended.
As I pondered what had happened, I felt that the clear crystal object represented the purity and holiness of God. In the book of Revelation 4:2-3 it says “...behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne. And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone;...” The jasper stone is believed to be clear, like a diamond, and represents God’s holiness. The sardine stone is fiery red in color and represents God’s justice. The crystal object also represents the human body of Jesus Christ, and the blood the human substance to redeem. The object tilting to the right, filling up with blood, and the word “suffering” appearing, represents Jesus’ crucifixion.
The spattering of the blood represents His life poured out for our sins, and the inescapable fact that His blood, if rejected will condemn you, and if accepted will save you.I believe the motel represents the world, because people from all over the world stay at motels, and in the dream all of these people, from different parts of the world, were seeing and experiencing this phenomena. No one could escape the blood. There was no middle ground.
Revelation 1:5 says "And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood." I Peter 1:18-21 says:
Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, who by him do believe in God that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.
I believe there is a final worldwide call going out for repentance through the one thing that can save us, and that is Jesus Christ and His blood. In Acts 4:12, the apostle Peter said, concerning Jesus Christ, “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved,” the apostle John wrote in I John 2:22, 23.
Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.
Have we denied the Son by outright rejection of Him, or by our lifestyles? Are you living a life of true salvation or just a counterfeit? Is life just a game, and the aspect of an eternal heaven or hell just a passing thought, or will we take serious what the Bible says in II Corinthians 6:2 that, “. . . behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” God does not promise us tomorrow, only today. If you died today, where would you spend eternity? This life is very fleeting, but eternity is forever. Only the blood of Jesus Christ can save you. Are you truly saved, filled with His Holy Spirit, and living a holy life? The choice is yours. What is your decision? Heaven or hell. |
